Bermuda and John Lennon

In the summer of 1980, John Lennon chartered a boat out of Newport, Rhode Island called the "Megan Jaye" to Bermuda. It was there that he composed several demos for the upcoming record, Double Fantasy. Our exhibition features John Lennon's "Bermuda" hat. Lennon was often photographed wearing these hats from the late 1970's into 1980. The hat was sold through Christie's Auction.
